The Phoenix Inverter Smart Range is designed to convert DC (direct current) power from batteries into AC (alternating current) power, which is used to run appliances and devices that require standard household electricity. The "Smart" design means these inverters have advanced features, such as remote monitoring and control capabilities via smart devices or computers. The terminals are more accessible enabling easy and neat connection and the slimmer full metal casing of the Phoenix Inverter Smart provides an effective and tidy device.
Available models include 1600VA, 2000VA, 3000VA for 12V, 24V or 48V systems and there are several optional connections available such as Remote on/off switch and Remote Control Panel.
The Phoenix Inverter Smart will power your most common appliances and does not require specific maintenance. Checking all connections once a year, avoiding internal moisture and generally keeping the device clean is sufficient.

You can transfer the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch-For our low power inverters we recommend our Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax features a very short switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. Alternatively use a MultiPlus with built-in transfer switch.
Bluetooth Smart Enabled: Any Bluetooth enabled smart phone, tablet or other device can be used to monitor, to change settings and to update the charger when new software features become available

There are two types of inverters pure sine wave and modified sine wave. Modified sine wave inverters are a more basic form of technology than pure sine wave inverters, they produce power which is perfectly adequate for powering simple electronics. Use modified sine wave inverters to provide power for your less sensitive appliances like phone chargers, heaters and air conditioners. Modified inverters are best suited for resistive loads which don't have a start up surge.
Pure sine wave inverters use more sophisticated technology to protect even the most sensitive electronics. Pure sine wave inverters produce power which equals – or is better than – the power in your home. Appliances which may not function properly, or which may be permanently damaged, without pure, smooth power will be safe with pure sine inverters. Use these inverters for televisions, laptops, digital microwaves, fridges and other sensitive electronic equipment. Pure Sine inverters can power just about any AC appliance without risk of damage.
The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.

When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15W). Once in standby the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.
A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two pole connector, or between battery plus and the left hand contact of the two pole connector.

MPPT charge controllers can be a powerful component of your solar system. They not only manage the charging of the battery bank from the solar panels, but they are also able to convert the higher voltage of the solar array to the lower voltage of the battery bank. This allows you to design highly efficient solar systems.** You take the total watts of the solar array divided by the voltage of the battery bank. That will give you the output current of the charge controller. For example, a 1000W solar array ÷ 24V battery bank = 41.6A. The rating of the charge controller should be at least 40A
