Ardent Integrated 30AMP DC/DC & SOLAR Battery Box

The all-new Ardent 30A DC-DC Battery Box keeps your lithium battery charged. The all-new Ardent 30A charger incorporates a 30A MPPT solar controller allowing charge from solar panels or blankets. Simply drop your lithium battery into the box and connect only two wires from the box direct to your battery terminals. Get power anywhere and anytime! Stuck in a blackout! No problems! Charge and run all your important devices!! When the vehicle runs, the DC/DC charger will charge via the alternator; when the vehicle stops, the Ardent 30A DC/DC will continue charging via your solar panels/blankets. This Ardent 30AMP MPPT charger also features pulse charging algorithm designed to recover your discharged battery. And over-charge, short circuit, over-temperature, thermal load, solar input overload, input/output reverse polarity protection have been integrated to offer an extra layer of protection.

DC-DC Charging For Lithium Batteries

Regarding DC-DC Chargers and solar controllers, you must change these to LiFePO4-specific models, which can charge your Lithium batteries to an entire 100% State of Charge. The advantage of using a LiFePO4 charge profile is that it allows users to get the total capacity out of their lithium battery, as the DC-DC LiFePO4 setting will prolong the battery life. You need a DC-DC charger to effectively manage the power input in a lithium battery.

**If you are charging from an alternator, you will need a DC-DC Charger that is designed to manage solar specific to lithium (LiFEPO4).
